Daniel J. Oakley is the son of founding members Chester and Louise Oakley. Dan has been a very active member of the Board of Directors since 1982. He is past President and is currently serving as Vice President. Dan is a member of the Scholarship Committee, Personnel, Finance & Audit Committee, the Cocktail Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee.
Dan earned a B.A. from St. Anselm College and a Master’s Degree from Salve Regina University. He taught for thirty years in Middletown, Rhode Island retiring in 1999 as Chairman of the History Department.
Dan currently works at Surprise Valley Farm and Old Port Marine.
